A beautiful Fall wedding celebrated at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. Holly and Marcus’ wedding ceremony was held right at the edge of the Lake. Photography was captured by LOAPhotography.com  A great feature of a destination-getaway wedding like this, is that guests many times will stay at the hotel for the night or over the weekend!

How did you meet?

We worked across the street from each other. Marcus said he had been wanting to ask me out for awhile. I had my dog with me at work and he came over when I was walking him and asked me out.

How long did you plan the wedding after the proposal?
We planned our wedding day for nine months!

The top 3 challenges/difficulties of planning the wedding.

1. Staying within a budget
2. Deciding what is more important than other things. Such as should we spend money on a photo booth or more on flowers etc.

3. Trying to stick to how many you originally invited.

The top 3 most fun/easiest parts of planning the wedding.

1. Picking out flowers!
2. All of the festivities that go along with it (dress shopping., bridal shopping. shower, rehearsal dinner etc) Gift shopping for the bridal party
3. Having all your family/friends around a lot.

What fun/unique feature of your wedding made you the proudest?

I love how simple we did everything but it came out so pretty! I also loved our table seating card holder. It was homemade by my boss and I.

If you had it to do over, what would you change, add or do differently?

I would of added a photo booth. It’s something we couldn’t decide on.
